Windows SSH Desk documents the tools Windows users reach for when they need a remote shell or a secure file transfer. It exists because most SSH documentation assumes you are already sitting at a Unix machine, and most Windows help stops at "install the client."

How pages get written
Procedures are written against current Windows 10 and Windows 11 builds and describe what the software does, not what a press release claims. Where behavior depends on a version, licensing term or corporate policy, we say so instead of guessing. When something changes and a page falls behind, we would rather hear about it — the contact page explains how.
